Tea Cup.

I never have actually criticized company policy.
But can I just say:
It's not weird for us to have Starbucks' cups at our desk. In fact, I am willing to bet that Starbucks is so ingrained in our culture that customers would not notice my cup AT ALL. And since we have a Starbucks IN THE STORE, it's like free advertising.
But seriously. Turn on "Law and Order" or "Without a Trace" or "CSI"...I know they're fictional, but the characters are walking onto crime scenes with coffee cups. And I can't have one next to me while I order books?
I mean, in the past week two customers have "advised" me of their spills--meaning, they dropped their coffee and don't really care to even try to clean up. I also had to return at least $200 in books from the front table because of coffee drippage.
So I can't sip from a cup of tea on a day when we have no heat, but our beloved customers are allowed to ruin hundreds of dollars in books and then make me clean up the mess.

This job is awesome.
