Conversation Snippets

I hear many amusing conversation fractions during the day, but nothing can top this:

"You are NOT a gingerbread man!!! You are WILLIAM!!"

I peer around the stacks of books to see a woman lifting a small, screaming boy off the floor.


William is a naughty boy. (And certainly not a gingerbread man, of all things, if this woman is to be believed.)
