celebrity sightings.

Not like huge ones. John Henry was in the other day, and today Captain Brass bought The Things They Carried. I was so confused, at first--I thought he was one of my friends' dads that I wasn't recognizing, cause he looked so comfortably familiar. I did like that he swiped his friend's discount card in order to get a whole $1.40 off the book. And it was definitely him, cause I recognized his name when he handed me his credit card, and he realized that I'd figured out who he was and gave me a little wink.
The lead singer of The Goo Goo Dolls (I think? Some band, anyway) was also in last week, looking for business books.

The person I most regret missing, though, is the fabulous, adorable John Krasinski. I was on my break when he stopped in (he's from Brookline). This was before "The Office" became insanely popular, but I always loved you, John! Please marry me!

And this is why I'm not let out of the house often.
