Pomegranate. And my pot.
I have recently, for two different reasons, become obsessed with pomegranate. First--the color. I love it. I've been altering my apartment to include the deep, yet bright, red tones. It's so cheery, but not in-your-face.
Also, I love the actual fruit. It's the seeds that give the juice, and they're super healthy and tasty. (And, alas, expensive.) Pomegranate iced tea has become my favorite drink--not sweet, very refreshing. Looooove.
I received a lot of great gifts for Christmas this year.
I was lucky enough, however, to get one thing I coveted. Yes, he bought me my pot.
I love my pot. I love that the most important person in my life gave me my pot. And I love that it's in my new favorite color, the color I'm designing my kitchen around.
It is the best, most useful present I will ever be given. And it was given so sweetly, with such loving intentions, that I can't help but smile every time I use it.
