Things I'm Not Paid to Know.

I know a lot. I live next to the bookstore, I know the area well, I can direct you if you want a cheap lunch or fancy dinner.

Things I don't know that people expect me to:

Don't know how long it takes for your bank to credit your debit card.

Don't know the overseas shipping rate for a Christmas card.

Don't know where you can find "a gun magazine" that we don't carry.

Don't know if "that other bookstore" would have a completely obscure book.


And lastly? Don't know if when I tell people that the book is on the fifth floor and they say, "Of this building?" that I should COMMIT THEM TO THE ASYLUM because of couse I'm referring to this building, dippy.
